A restitution of the project (in french) is scheduled for April 16, 2021, all the information related to the restitution day can be found here : IDEFESE_save_the_Date
IDEFESE is a 30-month project (until end of 2020) concerned with ecosystem services mapping to inform urban and regional planning policies. Our case study is the Ile-de-France region, although the approach is applicable to other French cities and regions.
The project is led by the CIRED (AgroParisTech, Cirad, CNRS, EHESS, Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, Université Paris-Saclay), CNRM (Météo-France, CNRS), ESE (AgroParisTech, CNRS, Université Paris-Saclay, Univ. Paris sud), and the regional biodiversity agency (ARB).
The project is funded for a duration of 30 months by ADEME, the Ministry for Ecological and Inclusive transition, and AgroParisTech.
IDEFESE and the Paris region is also a pilot project for testing the InVEST software developed by the Natural Capital Project at Stanford University (presentation on the NatCap’s website here)
